1666 The forgotten disaster

In 2016 we made a VR app for the 1666 foundation to relive the forgotten disaster of 1666. The foundation was looking for a modern way to tell about the events. We have opted for a Virtual Reality experience in combination with animated content. A storyteller guides you through the events from the Dutch and English perspectives. The experience is based on facts about the disaster. Together with historian Drs. Anne Doedens, we have made sure that everything in the app, from characters to ship types, is historically correct.
